Juan Pablo Montoya drove the Clorox Team at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing to a third-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 6, 2011.  The Clorox Chevrolet started the race in 23rd position and Montoya worked his way up to run in the top 10 for most of the race.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This year, the NASCAR fans watching the Pocono race were privy to a first of it&#8217;s kind color changing paint scheme designed by Sunrox Sports Media. The No. 1 AXE Twist Chevrolet, driven by Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 winner Jamie McMurray, graced the track.</p>

<h2>Using NASCAR motorsports marketing to promote Unilever&#8217;s new product brand, AXE Twist.</h2>
<p>The innovative motorsports competition car design, targeted for AXE Twist&#8217;s race marketing efforts, boldly represented the new AXE product line on the track.  This new product actually changes scent when your body temperature changes.  What better way for a NASCAR paint scheme design to reflect this effect than to change it&#8217;s color based on the car&#8217;s temperature.  This is a first for NASCAR, as this marks the first time a paint scheme that changes color based on the temperature of the sheet metal of the car has ever competed in the sport.</p>

<blockquote><p>“Changing” Technology Applied to Paint Scheme: For the first time in the history of NASCAR, a car in competition on the race track will have a color changing paint scheme, due to increasing temperature of the sheetmetal. The No.1 AXE Twist Chevrolet will feature a color-changing hood when it takes the green flag on Sunday, Aug. 1 at Pocono Raceway. The paint scheme is representative of the AXE Twist fragrance itself, which changes scents throughout the day. The vinyl used on the hood uses liquid crystals that can be accurately set to show color at specific temperatures and was specifically engineered to meet the exact temperature range needed to show changing colors on the hood of a NSCS car.</p>
<p>Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and Unilever hope this color-changing hood will keep the thousands of race fans at Pocono and millions watching from the comfort of their homes locked in on McMurray’s No.1 Chevrolet.</p>

<p>Well, at least for a few weeks during a summer blocker set to release July 1, 2011 (USA), directed by Michael Bay.  In the upcoming Transformers 3, the Autobots and Decepticaons take on NASCAR.  The guys over at <a title="NASCAR in TRANSFORMERS 3" href="http://screenrant.com/transformers-3-chicago-set-video-photos-benk-67882/" target="_blank">Screen Rant</a> have unearthed some cool imagery from the set, and here&#8217;s a cool video clip of the new card designs from the movie set itself!<span id="more-138"></span></p>

<p>Sunrox has designed the paint scheme for the No. 42 TARGET car competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.  Sunrox has provided these design ever since TARGET became the primary sponsor of the car (and actually before it was the primary sponsor).  It will be great to see the No. 42 Target up on the big screen in a sure to be summer smash!  It&#8217;s sure to be featured from the looks of the insider clips from the movie set in Chicago.  Speculation suggests these new bots (to the movie franchise) are the Transformer G1 (Generation One) Micromasters &#8211; Race Car Patrol (image courtesy of <a title="TFWIKI.NET TRANSFORMERS WIKI" href="http://tfwiki.net" target="_blank">tfwiki.net</a>)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sunrox is proud to announce our NASCAR paint scheme, car design will run on the No.1 GE Reveal® Chevrolet driven by the 2010 Daytona 500 Champion, Jamie McMurray.  This car design will be featured June 13th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Michigan International Speedway.<span id="more-118"></span></p>
<p>Jamie McMurray will be starting on the front row in second position.  McMurray&#8217;s teammate Juan Pablo Montoya will be starting the 10th position in the No.42 TARGET® Chevrolet.  Earnhardt Ganassi Racing how both cars starting in the top 10.</p>
<h2>NASCAR Motorsports Sponsorship goes way beyond the track.</h2>
<p>GE also plans to upgrade Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (NASCAR series teams) and Target Chip Ganassi Racing (INDY Car and Grand-AM teams) with new lighting fixtures increasing the team&#8217;s energy efficiency and lower their carbon footprint.</p>
<p>This not only increases energy efficiency, and lowers energy costs, but this venture will also lower maintenance costs, and improve the quality of light, visibility.  The new GE Reveal® lighting will enable Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and Target Chip Ganassi Racing to lessen the environmental impact of their facilities.  As the team replaces all of the lighting fixtures and light bulbs with the latest energy efficient lighting technology from GE, the motorsports teams will efforts will help protect the environment in the following ways:</p>

<li>Carbon Dioxide emission reduction by 745,162 Ibs. per year</li>
<li>Sulfur Dioxideemission reduction by 2,924 Ibs. per year</li>
<li>Nitrogen Dioxideemission reduction by 1,435 Ibs. per year</li>
<li>Coal Burning avoided 348, 207 Ibs. or 162 Tons per year</li>
<li>Reductions are the equivalent of adding 93 acres of forest</li>
<li>Reductions equivalent to removing 65 cars from the road for a year</li>
</ul>

<p>Jamie McMurray will be entering his fifteenth career event in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway in the No.1 GE Reveal® Chevrolet.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>New to motorsports this year is <a href="http://www.talkingrain.com">Talking Rain</a> and they&#8217;re stepping in with their brand ActiVater sponsoring NASCAR driver AJ Allmendinger.  <b>SUNROX Sports Media</b> has provided in-studio photography for their motorsports sponsorship program.  Not having any existing assets <b>SUNROX Sports Media</b> has designed their entire campaign.  From the art direction in the photo shoot of the car and the driver, to the execution of sponsorship collateral, advertisements, in-store POP (point of purchase) as well as a NASCAR paint scheme design for their brand.</p>
